How Agent-Key works...
Agent-Key travel portal reservation software is designed for travel portal websites and inbound tour operators selling accommodation over the Internet.
The concept is that guests pay you, the travel website operator, either a deposit or the full amount due. If you wish guests to pay hotels and other accommodation-providers direct, please refer to our Portalkey reservation software product.
With Agent-Key reservations software, guests:
- visit your website and explore your property information pages
- explore the accommodation choices on your website, using Agent-Key's 'Search Availability Form' or referring to your own website pages
- find their preferred accommodation and click 'Book Now' (or 'Check Availiability', or similar) to link into the Agent-Key system
- check if accommodation is available at their chosen property for their required dates, and then select their preferred room type and rate
- enter their credit card details onto the Agent-Key secure server (or directly onto your
bank server) - receive instant confirmation of their reservation, and an auto-generated email from you (the Agent-Key user) thanking them for booking
Each time a guest confirms a reservation, you receive an auto-generated email from the guest summarising the booking details. An email voucher can also be auto-generated to the property which the guest has booked, confirming the reservation from your room allocation.
Agent-Key 'back office' features:
- a facility to view all 'your' different hotels/properties through one screen - 24 hour access to your room rates and availability at unlimited hotels in unlimited destinations
- an optional link for properties to update their own room availability
- password-protected access to guest credit card details through our Agent-Key secure server

- a facility to view and manage reservations at all properties, and to update booking and payment status when required
- quick links into Agent-Key to enter reservations made by telephone/fax/email
