About Globekey's online reservation system...

Globekey, Agent-Key and Portalkey software products are owned by Globekey Systems Pty Ltd.

Globekey Systems is an Application Service Provider, supplying an online reservation system to hotels, apartments, inbound tour operators, travel portal websites and others selling accommodation over the Internet.

The first sales of the Globekey software were made in South East Asia in early 2000. These first South East Asian clients have now been using the software for more than 11 years.

Globekey's first American client started using the system early in 2001, and since then Globekey has developed close working relationships with several representatives in the United States.

In Europe, Globekey has its own representative office in Manchester, UK.

Early 2002, hotels in Hong Kong and China started using Globekey.

Since 2007, Aurora Hospitality has represented Globekey in India.

Globekey also has long-term relationships with local resellers in Mexico, Indonesia, Vietnam, Greece, Turkey and Belgium.

Globekey has a team of dedicated representatives and staff, all with a commitment to the company's long-term success. Professional sales and customer support people have the experience necessary to ensure that Globekey's online reservation system stays ahead in the fast-changing Internet world.

Rod Wilkinson
Technical Director

Rod Wilkinson designed the Globekey reservations software drawing on his experience working in the tourism field for more than 20 years. His career has included operating his own tourism company in Canada; 6 years with Tour East, a respected inbound tour operator in South East Asia; and 18 months with a successful travel portal website in Thailand.

Gregor Vogel
Director of Sales & Marketing

Gregor has worked in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry for over 15 years. A graduate from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Lucerne, he worked with Renaissance, Intercontinental and Marriott Hotels in Europe and Asia. He switched from hotels to tour operating in 1999, and worked for Diethelm Travel in South East Asia.

Dave Probert
Senior Programmer

Dave taught himself how to program computers at an early age. He attended Brunel University in London and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 1997. For the past 22 years, Dave has been contracted as a programmer and web developer by various companies, including the BBC (British Broadcasting Association), Fison’s Pharmaceuticals, Dyad and Purple Tiger. His wealth of experience is of great benefit to the Globekey technical team.

Coralee Lowe
Senior Sales and Support Manager

Coralee graduated in Hospitality Management from Macleay College in Sydney and spent several years working in retail travel. She then moved into the hotel industry and worked for Toga Hospitality, which operates Adina & Medina Apartments, Vibe & Travelodge Hotels. Her roles included support and training on a front office system and team leader in central reservations.

Anne Robinson
Regional Manager

Anne has over 15 years experience in sales, marketing and tourism. She worked for Thomson Holidays UK in Spain, Kenya and Jamaica. She worked in Thailand for 7 years, managing the Globus/Cosmos programme in South East Asia, and then moved to London to assume responsibility for Cosmos Coach Tours brochure content and production. Based in Manchester, Anne takes care of sales and support for Globekey clients in her time-zone.

Barbi Hofmockel
Senior Accountant

Barbi was educated in Germany and first visited Australia as a tourist in 1988. She graduated from Business College (Handelsschule Schwenningen) and has since then worked in Germany and Australia in various different industries (Legal, Air- and Sea- Freight forwarding, wholesale Import/Export). Since 1993, Barbi has focused on book keeping and she has been part of our Globekey team since 2007.

Tikumporn Vorakerkkulchai (Mika)
Sales & Customer Support

Orginally from Bankgok Mika has made Sydney her new home. She holds a Tourism Degree from the Bridge Business College in Sydney and is instrumental in providing customer support in Thai and English to our clients.
